In demand New York City-based harpist Marilu Donovan specializes in performing, writing, and recording music for the harp.

She has worked with a range of artists including Azealia Banks, Julie Byrne, Brooke Candy, Jefre Cantu- Ledesma, Darren Cunningham (aka Actress), Angel Deradoorian, Alexandra Drewchin (aka Eartheater), Aerial East, Emily Haines, Hunter Hunt-Hendrix (aka Liturgy), Drew McDowall, Michael Pisaro, JG Thirlwell, Christina Vantzou, and Zsela.

Notable performances include Pitchfork Music Festival (Chicago), Unsound Festival (Poland), CTM at Berghain (Germany), NPR Tiny Desk (Washington D.C.), Le Guess Who (Holland), MATA Festival at The Kitchen (NYC), and FORM Festival (Arcosanti).

Marilu holds a Bachelor of Music from the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles.
