New York City-based harpist Marilu Donovan specializes in performing, writing, and recording new music for the harp.
She has worked with a range of artists including Azealia Banks, Julie Byrne, Brooke Candy, Darren Cunningham (aka Actress), Angel Deradoorian, Eartheater, Okay Kaya, Emily Haines, Drew McDowall, Christina Vantzou, and Zsela.
Notable performances include Carnegie Hall (NYC), Pitchfork Music Festival (Chicago), Paris Fashion Week, Unsound (Poland), MoMA (NYC), NPR Tiny Desk, Rewire (Netherlands), MATA Festival at The Kitchen (NYC), and FORM (Arcosanti).
Commercial clients include Louis Vuitton, Acne Studios, Calvin Klein, BUCI, and Elena Velez.

Marilu holds a Bachelor of Music from the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles.
She performs regularly with Adam Markiewicz as LEYA and maintains a private harp studio located in Ridgewood, Queens.
